Day 11/100: Content Planning

We are moving along quite nicely now. Let me show you an update of some of the things we have gotten done so far, and then we’ll get to choosing:

  • Select the main keyword
  • Article Length
  • Article Type
  • Article Title
  • Purpose (build links, referral, answer a question.)

That is essentially it for this step multiplied by twenty for the first twenty articles.

I really can’t list them out here, because the chances that someone takes that list and sends to a writer is pretty high. That would be fairly foolish. Even though this whole concept is doing it in public. The thing is, it’s not like the information will be hidden after I publish.

Everything will be available publicly via any SEO tool. I just don’t want to give it away before the content is published. Once it is, I can come back here and update this section specifically. Is there a reminder in here medium? Haha.

Where We’re At?

I like the way this look is starting to take shape. But I see some changes I’ll need to make already in the header positioning. Its going to look slick on mobile. So we’re getting somewhere. We’re some content and a couple tweaks away from launching v1 of our site.

I’m excited about how this is shaping up. There will be many more tweaks and changes as I go. But that’s the whole point, just doing stuff. Trying things, and putting in time and effort and actual practice.

Site Structure & Articles To Be Written

Partially fleshed out site with keywords and articles to be written. With many more as well. I did this for a good couple of hours. More likely 4–5 hours of pruning, and getting a better lay of the land.

Could potentially turn into a 100–150 article site surprisingly. Also, I noticed a pretty wide gap in the website builder keyword sets. That’s got some major CPC and affiliate program implications. Pretty interesting.
